AN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COLLABORATION CREATED DURING THE PANDEMIC

Flutu arranged, licensed, recorded, edited and mixed an international version of Feeling Good with musicians working remotely across six countries.

THE PROJECT

A REMOTE COLLABORATION ACROSS SIX COUNTRIES

Feeling Good was a Flutu-led production created during the global pandemic with musicians in Brazil, Cuba, the United States, India, Spain and England.
Every contributor recorded in a different place, with different rooms, microphones and technical conditions. The production challenge was making those performances feel like one ensemble instead of a folder of remote recordings.
OUR AUDIO WORK
The project depended as much on coordination and editing as performance, with every remote recording needing to land inside one coherent arrangement.

ARRANGEMENT & LICENSING

Flutu developed the arrangement and handled the licensing needed to produce and release the reinterpretation.

RECORDING & EDITING

Remote performances were edited for timing, tone and continuity so material recorded across six countries could sit together naturally.
03

MIXING

The final mix brought the different rooms, instruments and performances into one production without erasing the character of the individual players.
