THE PROJECT

ONE AUDIO IDENTITY ACROSS INTERACTIVE AND LINEAR MEDIA

Ida & Ed is a children’s cross-media project by Hoff Productions focused on environmental awareness. Flutu created music and sound design for both the game and the animated-series trailer.
The challenge was continuity across two formats. A musical idea or sonic cue needed to feel like the same world whether the audience was watching a trailer or interacting with the game.
OUR AUDIO WORK
The production treated game and animation as two expressions of the same audio identity rather than two separate briefs.

ORIGINAL MUSIC

Original music was written to establish a recognizable tone that could carry across interactive and linear material.

GAME SOUND DESIGN

Gameplay sound design supported interactions while staying consistent with the tone established by the music and animated material.

TRAILER & IMPLEMENTATION

Flutu handled trailer sound and implementation so the audio language stayed coherent when moving between linear and interactive formats.
