At Flutu Game Audio, we understand that game audio quotes can be complex and that’s why we offer a range of pricing options tailored to suit your game’s specific needs.
If you’re working on a game, there will come a time when you need to start thinking about the audio direction for it. And just so we’re clear, by “Audio Direction” we mean:
- Original Music
- Sound FX
- Voice recording and editing
- Middleware Implementation

As I see it, it’s really helpful for you as a customer to know the options you have in order to work within a budget. Game audio quotes are complex and they are designed for your specific game needs. To summarise, game audio quotes are priced:
- per project: You tell us everything you need and we create and manage all audio assets (music and sound fx) of your game including middleware implementation for a fixed price.
- per hour of work: You hire our studio based on our hourly rates and we work together during the time you need our team
- per assets: You tell us precisely how many sounds and what music you need and decide if you want them implemented or not.
- per minute of original music: Original game music is usually priced by minute, so you let us know how many loops you need, their length, and leave the rest to us.
- per track or video reel: Some studios hire us to compose music for their video reels and game trailers. This includes cinematic sound fx design.
- a combination of some of the options above
What is my best option?
There isn’t a straightforward answer to this question. Consider how important this game is for you and share your budget perspective during our first meeting. It is our goal to find ways we can work together. You’ll have the peace of mind that you’ve hired a professional to deliver the game audio assets, and that you’ve agreed on pricing – so the budget for it is all figured out.
Revenue Share
Many indie game developers choose to build their team and work on sharing the revenue of their commercial sales. Flutu Game Audio do take revenue share projects, although for us to hop into Revenue Sharing, the game designing team/studio must show us a few documents such as their past projects sales provenance, their pastime revenue share agreements, the game’s marketing plan and the game design document.
Unfortunately, although some projects look really interesting, the reality is that working on a pay model that offers no guarantees just isn’t appealing, especially when you don’t have the documents listed above.n.
So there you have it! These are options you can choose from when hiring a Game Audio Team. It’s definitely worth sharing your budget perspective during our first talks.
Want to get the best from our team in your Game Audio project? Tell us more about your game, I’m sure that by having a nice conversation, you’ll probably feel what you need for your game to stand out in the crowd.
